It all begins with an idea.

My passion with audio began in the 1970s, recording childish radio plays and music on cassette.

I honed my craft in sound studios, recording narrations, commercials, and occasionally, late at night, recording bands.

In 2010, I was introduced to a film producer who had just made a film with major audio issues—cars, wind, and crickets interfering with scenes. He realized, too late, that recording poor audio made the production jarring and painful to watch. I agreed to help. Mistakes were made; tears were shed, but it got done.

Fast forward to the now times. I've designed sound for several features and many shorts, building sound databases, workflows and philosophies to craft custom organic soundscapes. It’s all about sound design with a vision. Your vision.

Sound design is layered, like a cake: clear dialogue is the icing; ambient sounds, foley, and effects are the foundation; and music adds zest. I can handle all or any of these elements, tailoring them to your needs.

Whether onsite or remote, I’m ready to collaborate on full productions, ADR, or other studio needs. If my skills resonate with your vision, reach out—I’d love to bring your passion to life.
